The 2010 FIBA World Championship for Men will be held in Turkey between 28 August to 12 September 2010 in 4 different cities; Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Kayseri.
On the 16th World Basketball Championship comes the 24 competing nations from Asia, America, Europe, Ocenia and Africa. Spain was the defending world champion by winning the 2006 FIBA Championship in Japan.
