The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is Disney’s 2010 adventure, comedy and fantasy film starring veteran Hollywood actor Nicholas Cage. The movie is directed by Jon Turteltaub, produced Jerry Bruckheimer and will be distributed by Walt Disney Pictures.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is a live-action adaptation of Mickey Mouse Sorcerer’s Apprentice part in Disney’s Fantasia. It it also based on 1890s symphonic poem of Paul Dukas and 1797 Johann Wolfgang von Goethe ballad. Other movie stars includes Jay Baruchel, Alfred Molina and Monica Bellucci.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice Movie Plot

The movie will center to a sorcerer and an ordinary guy as they work together for a great humanitarian purpose. The sorcerer (Nicholas Cage) recruited a college student (Jay Baruchel) to learn the craft of magic and sorcery. This prepares him in an evil plans of Maxim Horvath (Alfre Molina).
