Salt is Angelina Jolie’s upcoming action thriller movie. The film is directed by Phillip Noyce, produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Sunil Perkash, and written by Kurt Wimmer and Brian Helgeland.
The film was originally offered to Hollywood star Tom Cruise but he does not commit to accept it due to some other projects. The script was then rewritten to suit Angelina Jolie. Starring also in the movie are Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Liev Schreiber.
The movie is scheduled to hit United Kingdom on July 20, 2010 and in United States on July 23, 2010.
Salt movie will center to a CIA agent, Evelyn Salt (played by Jolie) who has been accused of being a Russian spy defector. She goes on run and used everything she knows to escape, know her real identity and clear up his name. Who is Salt?
