The Town is an action thriller film starring, written and directed by Hollywood action star Ben Affleck. It is based on the novel Prince of Thieves by Chuck Hogan. Other casts include Rebecca Hall, Jon Hamm, Jeremy Renner, Blake Lively, Titus Welliver, Pete Postlethwaite and Chris Cooper.

Legendary Films, GK Films and Thunder Road Film brings another robbery thief themed movie this fall 2010. Coming from the acclaimed director of Gone Baby Gone and the studio that brought us The Department comes The Town film. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on September 17, 2010.

The Town Movie Plot

The motion picture pursues the natural process of four Charlestown, Massachuset bank robbers as they are acted on by law enforcement. Affleck plays a professional stealer who falls for a bank manager (Rebecca Hall) after a unsafe holdup. He fights with this new found kinship whilst ducking a dour Government man (Jon Hamm) looking to capture him and his gang before they overcharge another bank.
