Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is an upcoming 2010 movie based on the same name video game by Ubisoft Montreal. The movie is directed by Mike Newell, produced by Jerry Brucheimer and written by Jordan Mechner, Doug Miro, Boaz Yakin, and Carlo Bernard. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will be theatrically released on May 28, 2010 and to be distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. Starring on the movie are Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan, Alfred Molina as Sheik Amar, Gemma Arterton as Tamina, and Ben Kingsley as Nizam.

During the 6th century Persia, street urchin Dastan played by Jake Gyllenhaal showed bravery in a battle where the king is  impressed. The king soon adopted the kid to be his heir so that his two sons’ will not look after for the throne. The gift from the gods which controls time has been stolen. Dastan with the help of Princess Tamina (Gemma Arterton) will retrieve the Sands of Time from the evil hands of Nizam (Ben Kingsley).

Join Dastan and Tamina in their adventure and battle in search for the Sands of Time. Will they successfully rescue the thing that controls the time?
