The country sensation bags another award on her award-winning year!
Taylor Swift won the 2009 The Associated Press Entertainer of the Year award. Swift was chosen by newspapers editors and broadcast producers around the country in a poll survey of AP members. She follows Tina Fey and Stephen Colbert, 2008 and 2007 winners of the same award respectively.
“I am so honored and so excited,” Swift said in an interview by phone with the AP. “This was so unexpected, and I could not be more grateful.”

Taylor Swift who just recently turned 20 years old is blessed with a powerful songwriting style, captivating words and exemplified tunes such as “Love Story” and “White Horse”. Even her album “Fearless” who came out late of 2008 is a big hit in 2009.
Swift made eight songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and led a sold-out tour across 52 cities in North America.
Taylor Swift won Album of the Year from the Country Music Awards and the Country Music Association Awards. She won five awards in American Music Awards 2009 namely Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Artist (Pop/Rock), Favorite Female Artiest (Country), Favorite Country Album and Adult Contemporary Favorite Artist.
Swift also hosted Saturday Night Live and a live performance at Grammys.
Taylor Swift gained more exposure and blessings on the MTV Video Music Awards when she was interrupted by Kanye West while accepting the award of the best female video. An issue made Swift more known to everyone.
