AskMen, the free online men web portal has just recently announced the 49 Most Influential Men of 2009. From almost 500,000 votes from AskMen.com readers were counted. “Mad Men’s” Don Draper topped the websites list of the Top 49 Most Influential Men of 2009, surpassing Usain Bolt in second spot and Pres. Barack Obama in third place.

How Don Draper beat out Usain Bolt and Barack Obama?

The fictional TV character surpassed the greatest Olympian athlete (Bolt) and the most powerful political leader in the world (Obama) just because he did it. Don Draper has all the qualities of being an iconic male personality should possess. He’s very fascinating, unique, a commanding persona and controller of great trends. So does it all takes to be the top whether  or not he actually exist?
